As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to problem solver keeping our GO sites safe, functional, and looking their best. From fixing and maintaining everyday essentials to tackling a variety of practical tasks, no two days will be the same. You’ll take care of general maintenance and repairs across our sites — including carpentry, plumbing, painting, furniture fixes, and small technical jobs — while also lending a hand with equipment installations and supporting specialised technicians when needed.

Does this sound like you? Here’s what you need to have to match our requirements:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in a maintenance or general repair role.</li>
<li>Secondary level of education.</li>
<li>Valid driving licence</li>
<li>Ability to perform a variety of minor maintenance tasks safely and effectively.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of building systems and workplace safety practices.</li>
<li>Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.</li>
</ul>

<li>Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.</li>
<li>Support team members when required, including preparation of tools and work areas.</li>
<li>Report any hazards, damages, or urgent maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.</li>
<li>Maintain records of completed maintenance tasks and report follow-up actions.</li>
<li>Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company safety standards and procedures.</li>
<li>Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as may be required by the Facilities Manager.&nbsp;</li>

As a Technician – 4P, you will be responsible for delivering our True Fibre network directly into customers’ homes and businesses. You’ll handle the professional installation and setup of fibre services, networking equipment, connected devices, and CCTV systems, ensuring customers get the best from our technology.
Your role goes beyond basic connectivity. You’ll support home networking, smart‑technology solutions, and emerging services that improve how customers live and work. You’ll be on the front line every day — installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting — to make sure each customer enjoys a smooth, reliable experience.
While you’ll work independently in the field, you’ll also be part of a supportive, close‑knit technical team that has your back every step of the way.

<li>Maintaining and upgrading network infrastructure, including distribution points and drops;</li>
<li>Working at heights and in open manholes or confined spaces as required;</li>
<li>Using GO systems to provision, update records, and manage stock;</li>
<li>Performing stock-related tasks such as ordering equipment and returning equipment;</li>
<li>Participating in on-call schedules, overtime, and work continuation as needed;</li>
<li>Supporting the deployment of new technologies such as energy management and home networking;</li>
<li>Assisting in the installation of network infrastructure, IoT devices, and structured cabling in homes and businesses;</li>
<li>Providing basic setup and installation of devices such as TVs, printers, and routers;</li>
<li>Adhering to health and safety protocols and assisting in ensuring best practices on the field.</li>

As a key point of contact for our customers, you’ll provide product support across all four of GO’s platforms, devices, and CPE, while also assisting with the day-to-day responsibilities of our retail outlets. In addition to our core products, our Retail Team also supports customers interested in home contents insurance and PV panels, giving you even more opportunities to guide customers toward solutions that best fit their needs.
