We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Network Solutions Technician to deliver premium service and complex technical solutions to our valued business and high-profile customers. You will be the face of our commitment to excellence, providing end-to-end field support for advanced networking, Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH), and smart security systems for residential and high-profile business clients.
This role requires significant autonomy and is key to achieving our commercial goals by actively promoting and deploying connectivity and security solutions.

- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a field-based technical role (telecoms or networking).
- Core Skills: Proven experience in at least two of the following: FTTH, IPTV, Wi-Fi networking, or Fibre Patching in Test Room operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern Wi-Fi setups and familiarity with outside plant deployment and testing practices.
- Certification Commitment: Commitment to obtain the CWNA or CCNA certification within 6 months of training (training provided).
- Licensing: A valid driving license, valid to drive in Malta.
- Autonomy: Proven ability to operate independently with minimal supervision and own the resolution of technical challenges.
- Customer Focus: Excellent communication, a customer-focused mindset, and strong interpersonal skills for liaising with business clients and third parties.
- Sales Acumen: A sales-driven approach with the ability to identify and promote commercially viable solutions.
- Availability: Willingness to work on a rotating shift roster, including occasional on-call duty and overtime.

If this describes you, here’s a glimpse of what you will be doing in this position:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot FTTH, IPTV, Voice, and related services in line with GO standards.
- Patch, test, and maintain services in OHUBs, OCABs, ODPs, and Test Rooms to ensure network reliability.
- Configure and install demarcation devices (routers, modems, etc.) to support P2P, IPLC, VLAN bridging, IP routing, and network segmentation.
- Conduct wireless site surveys and post-installation checks to optimise Wi-Fi coverage and performance.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, alarm systems, smart intercoms, and Ubiquiti UniFi devices (including Protect systems).
- Promote commercial growth and customer satisfaction by identifying upsell opoortunities, aligning solutions with client needs, and supporting business clients/subsidiaries.
- Work on Wi-Fi Crew to achieve monthly sales targets for connectivity and security solutions.
- Work independently in the field, including at heights or in confined spaces (manholes, ladders, cherry pickers) adhering to health and safety standards.
- Liaise with clients, business representatives, and third parties to coordinate service delivery and resolve issues effectively.
- Record, track, and report installations and maintenance activities through plat-forms such as Monday.com, LNI, Litevu, and Salesforce/Click, ensuring timely completion of MITA and business requests.
