We're looking for a Sales Operations Manager to drive efficiency, performance, and growth across our enterprise sales function. 

In this high-impact role, you’ll design and optimise sales processes, provide data-driven insights, and align operations with business goals. You’ll partner closely with leadership to shape strategy, empower sales teams, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Does this sound like you? Here’s what you need to have to match our requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a sales team, with a proven track record of delivering results, within the Telecom or IT Sector.

• Diploma or Degree level qualification in either Sales, Management or a Technical Subject. 

• Skilled in drafting compelling sales proposals and delivering effective solutions to clients.

• Full sales cycle expertise — from lead generation and prospecting to pipeline management and closing deals.

• Ability to set performance goals, monitor progress, and implement improvement plans.

• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and process optimisation skills.

• Strong knowledge of telco products including VoIP, VoBB, wired and wireless complex networks, data services, and fibre optics.

• Valid driving license required

• In-depth understanding of cloud computing solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and major providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions, data centre implementations, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

• Fluent in Maltese and English, both spoken and written

• Design, implement, and refine sales processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and improve sales team productivity 

• Provide actionable insights through sales forecasting, performance metrics, and trends. 

• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute sales strategies. 

• Attend meetings with clients to recognise, negotiate and close sales deals 

• Align sales operations with business goals and market demands. 

• Grow the revenues and profitability of the enterprise division through the effective leadership and management of GO resources and the provision of world class service to the Enterprise division’s customers both internal and external 

• Train sales teams on the effective use of tools and platforms and Identify training and staff development requirements. 

• Act as a liaison between sales teams and other departments (e.g., marketing, finance). 

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Enterprise Services Sales team. 

• Onboard and train sales team members on processes, tools, and strategies. 

• Provide ongoing support to address operational challenges. 

• Collaborate with management and finance teams to prepare sales budgets. 

• Conduct revenue forecasting to guide resource allocation and planning. 

• Actively administer the team cost centre, carry out accounting function duties and approve purchase orders. 

• Maintain detailed documentation on sales operations policies and procedures. 

• Be involved in the recruitment and retention of employees within the team.

• Appraise employees and deal with internal employee grievances. 

• Motivate and give positive feedback, counselling, mentoring staff by assisting in evaluating performance, productivity and quality work, develop training proposals and instil self-discipline where and when required.
