We're on the lookout for an individual with a creative flair, strong motivation, and a growth mindset to join our dynamic People team as our next People Success Manager. Reporting to our Senior Manager - People Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and leading practices that foster an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasising empowerment, productivity, and quality standards. 

In this position, you'll delve into various People matters, including employer brand, talent management, HR Analytics, organisational and performance management, retention, reward and recognition, compensation, change management, labour relations and succession planning. 

Demonstrating a deep understanding and appreciation for exceptional employee experiences will be key to excelling in this role. Moreover, you'll need to exhibit assertiveness, sound decision-making, and strong leadership skills to thrive in this dynamic environment. We're seeking a proactive self-starter who possesses a natural ability to execute tasks efficiently, meet targets, and turn challenges into opportunities for impactful business outcomes. 

If this describes you, then this is a glimpse of what you will be doing;  

  • Develop and mentor People Success team members as well as contribute effectively as a member of the People management team;
  • Lead all Employer Brand and Talent Acquisition strategies, train and update the People Team with the latest trends and brand guidelines;
  • Manage, maintain and further develop GO’s online channels (such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Instagram, TikTok), our careers page and other websites, our recruitment system, and other HR systems/platforms;
  • Assist and support with processes in relation to offshore employment projects and/or GO's subsidiaries.
  • Act as a point of reference for employees and management on day-to-day issues;
  • Manage day-to-day operational matters;
  • Contribute towards, and execute, an effective employee experience;
  • Manage relationships with educational institutions, recruitment agencies, and other partners;
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute talent acquisition related events such as company visits, career fairs, events with educational institutions;
  • Manage our apprenticeship and youth exposure programme, employee referral programme, coming up with new ways of attracting talent, creating recruitment campaigns, recruitment adverts and job descriptions, whilst ensuring our employer brand is properly conveyed at all times;
  • Oversee and manage the entire recruitment and onboarding experience, whilst guiding the People team and Management to ensure a great candidate and employee experience at all times.   

To Grab Our Attention, You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an HR role within a fast-paced environment; 
  • A minimum MQF Level 5 qualification; 
  • Proven experience to come up with business ideas to contribute to business efficiencies; 
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised; 
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft suite; 
  • Excellent teamwork and people skills; 
  • Can handle complex situations; 
  • Customer focused and driven to achieve high standards; 
  • Sound understanding of Maltese Employment Law.
