We’re looking for a highly motivated individual, a natural leader who has a passion for people, sales and all things technical to join our Gozo Retail Team. 

Our Team Leaders have an important role to play in the overall running of our outlets: whether through supporting our agents during rush hour, training a new team member, or sharing ideas on how we can further reach out to our clients and convince them to take our latest offers, you will ensure that things in our retail outlet will keep on improving. 

We’re looking for an individual who is already familiar with our approaches and systems. If you can lead by example, and have the ability to quickly prioritise the urgency of certain situations, you will thrive in this position and environment.

• 'A' Level Standard of Education; 
• Have experience working in a retail and customer care environment; 
• Have a proven track record to lead and coach a team to a high standard; 
• Have experience working to targets and the ability to monitor performance against targets and take action accordingly; 
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, committed and hardworking; 
• Possess the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve results. 

If this describes you, then this is a glimpse of what you will doing:  

• Supervise, mentor and coordinate any staff assigned; 
• Assist and liaise with other teams within Consumer Sales and other Groups within the company, whenever the need arises; 
• Assume responsibility for all entries done which are related to customer information and the provisioning and or de-provisioning of services; 
• Assume responsibility for entries in the point of sale system and cash till and all required reconciliation, including stock items; 
• Assume responsibility for the standard and ad-hoc reports and information related to all outlet activities; 
• Attend and participate in special fairs, promotional events and exhibitions whenever required; 
• Ensure that all customer queries and complaints are attended to and resolved according to the company’s service levels; 
• Ensure the effective handling of incoming and outgoing communications and other correspondence; 
• General clerical duties; 
• Observe roster hours and display flexibility in duties and working hours and working of shifts where necessary to ensure that a supervisory role is available all the time at each outlet under own responsibility; 
• Promote and sell the Company’s portfolio of services; 
• Provide the necessary support for all Consumer Sales channels; 
• Effectively contribute and ensure an exceptional customer experience within all outlets, in line with the company’s mission and policies; 
• Ensure that all stock items are tracked from delivery to dispatch/sale to/from the outlets under own responsibility; 
• Manage stock levels and liaise with other teams within Consumer Sales and other teams to ensure that outlets are adequately stocked and ready for business; 
• Work to achieve and exceed sales targets for the range of products and services in line with the company’s business plans and policies; 
• Undertake training courses as and when required to ensure in-depth knowledge of the systems and offering of the company; 
• Ensure a smart and clean appearance at all times during the execution of this function in line with Company policy; 
• Cooperate with and assist management as and when required; 
• Other duties normally associated with such a position; 
• The selected candidate/s will be required to work shifts, be flexible in working hours and undertake the necessary training related to their duties.
